By the summer of 2010… I was 170 pounds and felt like crap! This was the heaviest I had ever been and I really couldn’t believe I let myself get there. I’ve always struggled with my weight and I loved to eat… and I mean eat!

Unfortunately for me, I found this AMAZING channel on cable called Food Network. Oh Yeah… You know what I’m talking about!!! Pastries, pasta, rich creamy sauces, and so much fricken delicious stuff my mouth waters just thinking about it. Hahaha!! Cooking all this awesome food really elevated my weight to the next level… not in a good way. Hahaha!!

I was a yo-yo dieter and always seemed to set myself up for failure when trying to lose weight. The biggest piece of the puzzle that was missing… Accountability and Support. I had no one holding me accountable. I had no one to answer to. I had no one else to motivate me. I would be great for a few days, start feeling better, and then I thought… I can reward myself today. Let’s just say I had ZERO discipline when it came to treating myself. I would over indulge, and then I would be right back to where I started. Riding my roller coaster! Ugh…

Fast forward a few years, and as I embrace turning “40”, I feel 100% better then I did in my 20s & 30s. I’m in the best shape of my life and I feel AMAZING! I don’t ever use the word “DIET” in my vocabulary anymore. I treat my fitness, wellness, and nutrition as a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. 

What’s so amazing about Beachbody… COMMUNITY! That is what I have built my business on. I strongly believe in it and I’m so passionate about it. Why do it alone if you don’t have to? Right??
