Happy Monday Wellness Warriors! 

Well, if you watched the Super Bowl I hope your team won! If not, and you’re a betting man or women… Hopefully you’re not experiencing an Expectation Hangover today! 

This leads us right into our topic for this Monday. I’m such a huge fan of the book Expectation Hangover by Christine Hassler. It teaches us how to overcome disappointment in Work, Love and Life.

Have you ever had high hopes or expectations for something in your life? This can be career, family, or even relationship related and the outcome just didn’t turn out the way you expected. This might of left you feeling disappointed, fearful, questioning your ability, or even angry.

I’ve been there more then once!! It’s the work I continue to do on myself that allows me to move through the feeling of disappointment, fear and anger. When we process our Expectation Hangover on the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical levels we learn to surrender. This lets us make room for the unexpected things that can happen and allows us to live the life we love. We can let go of the fear, release the ego, and embrace the experience.  It teaches us to grow, to keep moving forward and to not live in the past. BE PRESENT!
